1.Former Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh has died. Hsieh, 46, died from injuries he sustained in a house fire in Connecticut.
2.Tributes poured in for Tony Hsieh. Investors, journalists, politicians, and tech founders recounted his dedication to making people happy, his status as a visionary, and his creativity.
3.Apple suppliers are hedging their bets on China. Foxconn was already reported to be moving iPad production to Vietnam, while Pegatron will make some iPhones in India, according to Bloomberg.
4.CISA’s former chief says there was no vote manipulation. Chris Krebs, the former director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, said almost all of the ballots cast in the 2020 election had a paper trail and that there was no evidence that the machines were hacked or manipulated.
